Hang Garden Spotlight

,Survey the garden to determine where you want or need a light accent. Paths are good places, along with garden entryways. Garden spotlight a particularly beautiful part of the garden or a statue that stands out. Lights reflecting at night in a garden pond are always charming.

,Provide a sturdy support for the hanging light. Shepherd’s crooks come in many heights and when driven solidly into the ground are stable light holders. Place brackets on arbors, trees, on the side of your house and along fence lines to hold garden solar spotlights.

,Place the lights where they will get enough sunlight to recharge. A light placed in deep shadow will glow weakly at best when night comes. Some lights come with the solar charger on a cable, which makes placement much easier. The light can be placed even where sunlight will not hit it as long as the cable is run to a place where the sun hits the charger.

,Shelter the lights from heavy winds, if possible. If you know where the wind usually flows in the yard, you can ensure individual lights are protected from it or attached sufficiently to avoid wind damage.
