Attach a Bike Stroller

If you enjoy bike riding yet have children who are too young to ride on their own, you can still take them with you by attaching a baby bike stroller. There are a couple of different options: You can attach a baby bike seat to your bicycle or you can pull a baby bike trailer behind your bicycle. Neither option is difficult to install, so with a little time and patience your child will be able to accompany you safely on a bike ride.
1,Attach the baby bike seat rack over the rear wheel using an Allen wrench to loosely bolt it down. The rack’s bracket arms will attach to your existing seat’s threaded screws found at the rear of the bike frame.
2,Select a mounting point above the bike’s rear axle that is approximately level to the baby seat’s rack and lower the end of the rack’s strut onto it. Loosely bolt the strut to the mounting point using an Allen wrench.
3,Find the two adjustment bolts under the front of the baby seat’s rack and turn them using an Allen wrench until the bracket arms are at the desired angle and length.
4,Tighten down all the bolts once you have the seat level using a hex wrench.
5,Secure the baby seat to the rack. Some models slide onto the rack and snap into place. Others will bolt onto the rack you just attached.
Bike Trailer
6,Loosen the rear bike trailer stroller hub nut with a wrench and remove the nut and washers.
7,Pull the tow bar on the trailer until it slides out and secure it with the locking pin.
8,Place the trailer’s tab washer on the bicycle’s wheel axle and put the coupler plate vertically over the top of the axle. When done correctly, the pegs on the back of the plate will fit into the holes on the tab washer with the large hole positioned below the axle.
9,Reattach the nut and washer you took off and tighten them down with a wrench.
10,Insert the tow bar into the big hole on the coupler plate. Use the safety pin to lock the tow bar on and wrap the safety strap around your bike’s frame and hook the end of the strap to the d-ring on the tow bar.
