,Preparing the Grip-tape. Take the deck and the grip. Peel the protection surface off, like a sticker, from the grip tape and place it evenly on the pro complete skateboard.
,Smooth it out. Make sure there are absolutely no air bubbles, as these will dramatically reduce the amount of time the grip-tape remains on the board. Take your screw driver and rub against the edge of the board to get the grit off of it so it will make a guideline for cutting.
,Trimming the Grip-Tape. Cut around the edge with a sharp blade, preferably a razor. Then use some of the extra grip tape pieces to sand down the edges of the grip tape on the speed pro complete skateboard, to make the edges even.
,Attaching the trucks. Use a screwdriver (or just the screw) to make the holes through the grip tape, the board and through the trucks, then put the bolts into the the board, and put the bolt onto the end of the screw, screw it in while holding the bolts with a clamp or a wrench or something.
,Put the bearings at the wheels and attach them to the trucks. Screw them, but don’t overdo it or they won’t move. If you tighten them down until they do not spin and then back off, it will assist in sinking the bearings fully into the wheel.
,Adjusting. Adjust the trucks to loose, medium, or normal using the kingpin.
