Lower Back Massage
1,Ask your partner to lie down on his back and close his eyes, legs stretched out straight but relaxed, and arms lying loose, slightly away from the body.
2,Pour some massage oil into your hands, careful not to let any drip on your partner’s skin. Rub the oil between your hands to warm it.
3,Move to your partner’s side. Start to massage the lower back by placing both hands flat on the side of the rib cage opposite you, just above the hip. Your fingertips should be facing down toward the floor. Alternate your hands in a firm, but gentle, upward motion that reaches up and over the side of the lower back, toward you. So while one hand is moving in this upward motion, the other hand is returning to its place on the side of the rib cage to do the same. Repeat this motion several times in the lower back area.
4,Move to your partner’s other side and repeat Step 3.
5,Place the heel of one hand on the base of the spine–on the bone called the sacrum. Massage the sacrum by moving the heel of your hand in a circular motion, firmly but gently.
6,Place both thumbs on the sacrum at the base of the spine. Apply pressure with each thumb, and move in tiny circular motions all over the area.
7,After massaging the sacrum with your thumbs in tiny circular motions, do the same moving up the length of the lower back–your thumbs on either side of the spine.
8,Repeat Step 3 again on both sides of your partner’s body.
9,End your massage of the lower back with the gentle touch of your fingertips, using a light “feathering” motion all over the lower back area.
Assemble a 13ft Trampoline Enclosure
1,Fasten the enclosure to the 13ft trampoline legs. The pole’s bottom should be a foot and a half beneath the trampoline’s frame. Since every trampoline is different, read the instruction manual for your specific design. Most 13ft trampoline enclosure poles clasp easily to the legs of the trampoline with stainless or galvanized U-bolts, washers and nuts.
2,Use your ladder to attach the top of the poles to the ones that have already been fastened to the trampoline legs. If you have two halves, align the holes of each half and use your screwdriver to insert and tighten screws. Most poles come in two halves, though a few will come as single-pole units.
3,Pull the foam sleeves over the poles. They should extend to the top of the trampoline frame. The enclosure set comes with a set of caps that should be placed on the tops of the poles. These will be used to hold the encompassing net.
4,Tie one end of the 13ft trampoline enclosure net on top of one pole, then stretch it over and tie it to the top of the pole beside it. Continue this procedure and tie the net around the poles until it fully encloses the trampoline. Once you have done this, the net should be hanging just above the trampoline. Pull it down and clamp it to the top of the frame.
Plans for Building a Bicycle Trailer
1,Construct a ladder frame by nailing two of the four-foot pieces of wood to two of the three-foot pieces of wood to form a rectangle.
2,Hammer the two remaining four-foot pieces of lumber approximately four inches inside the longest part of the rectangle.
3,Hammer your four four-inch pieces of wood, connecting two four-foot pieces of lumber on each side. Connect these pieces about one foot from the back of your rectangle and leave 18 inches between each of the four-inch pieces. Your 16-inch wheels will occupy that space.
4,Hammer on your four remaining 38-inch pieces of lumber, evenly spaced through the center of the frame. These will reinforce your baby bike trailer.
5,Wrap the electric box cover plates around the outer four-foot pieces of lumber between the 18-inch space where the wheels will go. Make them center. Place the wheels between the four-inch pieces of wood.
6,Weld each axle onto each tire and bolt them into the electric box cover plates. Some tires will come with their own axles, in which case you can bolt them directly to the box plate, without the requirement for welding.
7,Attach a metal double bike trailer arm to the bicycle frame near where it meets the wheel. Weld the arm onto the box cover, or bolt it in with an electic drill. Clamp the overhanging part of the electrical box cover with a wrench, or cut it off.
8,Bolt the arm to the front of your bike trailer with two u-clamps.
9,Screw the plywood onto the frame. Add eye screws to the edges to keep your cargo in place.
